Bird of prey photography workshops

Learn how to capture birds in flight

Our Bird of Prey workshops are designed for people to learn how to capture birds in flight and how to compose shots by using the natural environment that the birds are set in. Set in the stunning peak district natural habitat shots will be possible, birds used are the Barn Owl along with the Eurasian Eagle Owl, Buzzards and kestrels will also be used on these days so people will get a wide variety of images to take home at the end of the day. Lewis understands the needs of photographers and with help from another falconer shots will be set up to the group’s wishes. Flight shots will be possible weather permitting and if the forecasts are too bad the days will be rearranged for another date. These workshops are great for all standards of photographer from the amateur to the professional; Lewis will offer his advice and concentrate on anybody’s needs during the day.

Costs for the day are £70 per person, max of 10 people.
