The UK has a wonderful variety of birds that can be found living in our landscapes all year round. Once again it is habitat that is the main factor on were they can be found. We have a fantastic variety from our coastlines to the upper moors and mountains of England, Wales and Scotland.

Some of our birds are becoming increasingly rare due to habitat loss or persecution but most birds are now protected by law to ensure they have safe environments to live in.
